Microdermabrasion is a mechanical peel using a slightly abrasive tip in combination with light suction.  Our medical grade non-crystal based system achieves textural improvement and is clinically proven for treating fine lines and wrinkles, decreasing pore size and mild acne scarring.  Microdermabrasion is referred to as the “lunch time peel.”

Dermaplaning is a manual method of peeling the skin.  It is a skin resurfacing procedure that uses a special surgical blade to gently plane or lightly scrape away the top, dead, dull layer of epidermal cells.  This process is also called epidermal leveling.  The controlled technique refines the skin, revealing a clear, smooth surface.  The treatment is effective for most skin types.

We use a variety of different acid peel solutions, very effective with microdermabrasion and dermaplaning.  Alpha hydroxyl based solutions and specialty acids such as TCA™ and retinoic acids can be used to treat wrinkles, fine lines and damaged skin encouraging cellular renewal and turnover.  This treatment is beneficial for all skin types including acneic skin.

The most important part of any treatment is maintaining the results.  The five essential steps are cleansing, exfoliation, nourishment, hydrating/moisturizing and protection.  We carry a variety of medical grade product lines for every patient’s needs.  We have advanced training to give expert advice on which products are best for you.

Permanent cosmetics or intradermal pigmentation is a method of applying pigments in the dermal layer of the skin and is also known as tattooing.  There are a variety of cosmetic enhancements, such as eyebrows, eyeliner and lip liner/color for both cosmetic and corrective purposes.  This treatment is for those who have allergies to conventional makeup, have little to no time to apply makeup or who want freedom from daily makeup application.
